“My favourite, and the most important, part of the role is talking to members of the community in their own home – quite often they haven’t seen anyone for a few days, so we’re here to offer a friendly face. Although I only stay with each customer for a few minutes I often leave having heard a new story that’s made me smile! Of course, the role involves riding a cargo bike, so you’ll have to be confident cycling, but it’s surprisingly easy as it’s electric.”
